MortgageLoanTX is an independent, informational website for people buying or refinancing a home in Texas. It explains mortgage types, closing costs, property taxes and homebuyer programs, and offers simple calculators for planning.

We are not a lender, mortgage broker or loan originator, we are not NMLS-licensed, and we do not take applications or offer rates. Earlier versions of this site advertised rates, years in business and a “licensed” status; those claims were removed because they were not backed by a real licence.

Before you borrow, verify any lender on NMLS Consumer Access and compare official Loan Estimates from several licensed lenders.
